Hi! I'm Josh. I'm a 22-year-old Ukrainian-Canadian businessperson, content creator, and just an all around fun guy!
I was born in September of 1998, in a small town in Ontario, Canada called Welland, which is basically the nicest worst place you'll ever visit.
As I'm sure you can guess, my early childhood wasn't sunshine and rainbows. Poverty, violence, and family issues were just a few of the horrible daily experiences of my very young life.
Then, just a little while before my fifth birthday, it all came to a head. I returned home from school one day to discover social workers at my house, and it was then that I was taken into foster care.
From there, I had just about the regular childhood you can expect out of most foster kids; difficulty making friends, severe mental health issues, you name it. Growing up was tough, especially school and holidays, for obvious reasons. Kids can be assholes, and well... Nobody wants to miss their family on Christmas.
Even despite all this, I lived a relatively normal life to the outside eye; attended school, had hobbies and interests, went to events and whatever with whichever foster family I lived with at the time -- it wasn't always all bad.
Once high school came, it was a matter of time before the drug use started. Weed, cocaine, ecstasy... Any party drug I could get my hands on went in my body, with no regard for anything. I had given up on life. It was also only a matter of time before I'd drop out of school completely. But not for long. At this time, I also aged out of CAS' wardship and became an independent, private citizen.
A year or so later, I finally graduated from a Catholic adult education centre and recieved my OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma). The drug use never stopped. I ended up working an under the table, cash-paying job so I could score drugs at night and in the morning the entire cycle would continue.
It felt like rock bottom and it made me realize that wasn't what I wanted out of life. So, I moved, rented a room and began improving myself. I stopped using drugs (I still smoke weed), and through chance or destiny, rekindled my interest in both gaming and business.
Thus, Yasyszcjosh was born.
Now, almost 5 years later, I am the proud -- and still broke -- owner of YSJ Apparel, a small Canadian apparel and accessories brand that aims to tackle some BIG issues in fashion, such as overproduction, waste, and lack of representation and inclusion.
I work hard to better myself in all aspects that I can, and am proud to have recieved certification in Social Media, Digital Marketing, and Marketing and Communications from renowned institutions such as Google, IBMI Berlin, and the Canadian Red Cross. I am also very proud to have successfully recieved my Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) certification and training.
Community is important to me. I'm a former Voting Member of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA), and a current Member of the Federation of Black Canadians.
In the gaming space, I'm coming for the crown. I regularly stream Halo content on my Twitch Channel, where I've already had the pleasure of reaching Affiliate status. Next stop, Partner!
In addition to that, it's a pleasure and a privilege to have joined the Xbox Ambassadors program, the #RazerStreamer Program -- as a Rising Star, might I add -- and to have my Twitch streams sponsored by Rogue Energy and Player One Coffee!
In the future, I hope to not only become a member of the infamous Swat Nation, but I am shooting to become an HCS Grassroots partner! I'll update this page when that happens, I promise.
I'm excited to be able to do the things I do, and I look ever forward to the future and what it will bringHi! I'm Josh. I'm a 22-year-old Ukrainian-Canadian businessperson, content creator, and just an all around fun guy!

A brand that I founded back in August of 2018, and my most passionate, close-to-heart project, YSJ Apparel exists to change quite a few things about the fashion industry.
One, the unbelievable high price for quality apparel. It's too expensive, and often not worth the price. Our moderate prices yet premium quality apparel and accessories bring about a newfound confidence in those that wear it -- and enable them to live their life to the fullest.
Two, we're taking on fast fashion, and overproduction. Our Made-to-Order method of production ensures that we never create any waste from overproduction, and we don't have leftover waste, either, as only the materials needed are used.
Three, we're showing up for planet earth. Our sustainable practices, such as fulfillment/item creation outsourcing, using only eco-friendly inks, our Made-to-Order method of production, and working with ethical and eco-concious suppliers, helps us assist in the fight against climate change and do our part to protect this planet.
